I just stumbled upon your video and even though I’m typing a lot, rest assured I’m speechless. I felt so relaxed watching you create this magnificent piece even though I was quite anxious about your body. You squatted for such a long time while tilting that I was worried you would cramp up and fall. OBVIOUSLY you were in complete control of everything so there was nothing to fear. Your painting is lovely, I’m inspired to get back to my own work, and I can’t wait to see more of your work.

Tanya, watching you work is almost meditative. I have this idea that you probably do 🧘♂️ yoga. Your ability to squat for so long and the choice of music are the clues. Also, the patient way you allow your art to emerge. Beautifully done. HA! HA! 4-Wheelin’!

I am late watching this. Boy those cells sure did grow a lot in the hour after you finished. I haven't read all the comments and I'm not sure you will see this so long after you completed it, but what is your pouring medium in this pour, if you remember? That is amazing that the cells got so big. The painting is lovely and I enjoyed watching the whole thing.
@loganbagley9025 жыл бұрын
I think I found the answer. You are using liquid glass as your medium? I actually just purchased some to use as varnish. I hadn't considered using it as medium, although I knew it could be used that way.

Very pretty. If you wanted to create something like Gina DeLuca, it’s all about paint density and that means the heavier paints need to go into the cup first in order to get her amazing cell action. Golden Paints has a Paint Density chart. I doubt you can use it for Michael’s brand paints, but artist brand, yes. Or you might just luck into it. Your paint tried to do it, but I think your Paints fought each other. Watch Gina Deluc’s paintings very carefully to see what she does.
@tforigo746 жыл бұрын
Judy Thank you so much! I will definitely look her up and see what she does, I love learning and trying new things!
@sindytowne5276 жыл бұрын
WOW, SERIOUSLY , no filter huh???? I love Gina as well but how manque de classe to come on anothers artists page - and tell her, her work may be "very pretty" but could be better by viewing another artists page.... ART IS RELATIVE, SPECULATIVE, INDIVIDUAL and all the other thousands of adjectives go on, I am betting 1000% that even if she loves Ginas work she does not want to create anything but what is her own, which by the way is Amazing! Judy - you speak as if you know something - yet I have not seen your work on here... probably better that way....
@ArtistTillDeath6 жыл бұрын
Sindy, I really think Judy was just trying to be helpful. She is very knowledgeable and well respected in the flow community. You may also think I’m unfiltered and out of bounds by my comment on this thread, but hey - welcome to social media. Tanya didn’t take any offense to it, so I don’t understand why anyone else would. Also - I agree, this painting is lovely.

How do you know she wanted to create something like Gina DeLuca? I watch her also and several others. She does not do large paintings that I have seen.
