Stellartone X - demo

Stellartone's ToneStyler X ("ten") is a ten-position capacitor selector switch tone control for electric guitars and basses with hi-Z passive magnetic pickups. This hybrid version combines the minimum to maximum EQ ranges of Stellartone's Guitar Ten and Bass Ten controls.
• The deepest anti-clockwise circuit #1 selects the traditional #473 bass tone cap, and the adjacent circuit #2 selects the traditional #223 guitar tone cap.
• The intermediate circuits #3 through #8 provide Stellartone's discrete capacitance values in audio taper.
• Circuit #9 selects "Virtual Tone Pot on 10", which provides the subtle treble reduction of a tone pot set to maximum brightness.
• Circuit #10 selects "true bypass", which provides the hottest & brightest tone of a disconnected tone pot.
Where space for a second tone knob is available, connect the ToneStyler to a standard pot to replace the fixed tone cap. This creates a "mega tone pot" with eight different roll-off and resonant frequencies.
