Thanks a lot for the nice video. I am also thinking about buying Versys 1000. How is it in 1st gear in the tight corners uphill? Does it have enough power? Did you have to slip the clutch? How easy ia it to turn, does it feel heavy?
@joeri99910 ай бұрын
It has more than enough power for anything you throw at it. I'm not the best hairpin rider by any means, but didn't miss power at all. It feels heavy when parking with the bike in hand, but when riding it feels nimble and light. Best you just do a test ride at a local dealer! If you like a touring bike with a 4 cylinder, I feel you can't go wrong with the Versys 1000.

@@joeri999 Thank you very much for fast response. I have actually done a half day testride and liked the bike very much. We just do not have steep mountains and hairpin corners here to test. I am used to heavy bikes, had FJR1300 before and currently riding Yamaha Super Tenere. I miss 4 sylinder engine sound and for me Versys is on the top.

@@EnnXT1200 Yep, it's the engine that pulled me towards the Versys. I'm not a fan of 2 cylinder bikes, I want a bike to be able to scream when I feel like it ;-).

Hi Christian, thanks :-). Next time in the hairpins will be on a Vespa GTS (which doesn't have any gears), but when I'll be back on the Versys, I'll give it a try!

Mvg.
@joeri9992 жыл бұрын
It is what it is...

Hi Nik, yes, there certainly was some uncertainty involved! We don't have many hairpins around here.

Hello, I see you put grip puppies on your grips. Is the grip heating effective? When you have grip puppies.
@joeri9992 жыл бұрын
You have a sharp eye! Yes, the heating is still effective, but less so. It takes considerably more time for the grips to heat up. They still get hot enough to make long rides at 3 C, but not nearly as hot as the Oxford grips I had on my previous bike. It's "OK".

Thanks for the answer. Its a great bike!

What GPS suport is used to this Tomtom ? Do you have any link to buu the same
@joeri9993 жыл бұрын
