Levo Expert (new to me) and I was adjusting my head play and the bolt fell out and I had no idea what these strange parts were.. I saw these chain links and I thought they were some sort of safety clip that fell apart. It has a chain breaker too!!?? Wow! I am a rookie here. Thanks for the insight. I called Fox and they did not know what was talking about and now I know why.. Swat is specialized and I thought this was a Fox part... thanks again.

One-up can be installed with any stem if you use their steer tube threading tool. The one-up stem is actually a more recent option. Granite Stash tool is another option.

Yeah I wanted their TOOL but I didn't want that stem, I have a Renthal Apex stem. I had the bike shop thread it instead of buying the threader tool (about the same price). I got the orange cap, and I got orange Deity spacer rings and it matched perfectly. I like too that you can use the mount for c02 OR the two sized watertight compartments. I have SWAT tools on my Stumpjumper, but I had to get this anyway. It's great having extra tools that technically don't take up any additional space--I mean it's INSIDE the steerer tube so I figured why not, and what IF my other tool got lost or dropped on the trail etc. and the bottom cap keeps muck out of the steerer too. This OneUp EDC really is one of the coolest tech inventions for hidden storage and the tool is very high quality. Was it worth over $100 to get this modification, IDK maybe, but it's a slick addition and adds an extra insurance just in case. ~JSV

Can any of these styles of multi tool be installed from the bottom? Bc the top of the steering tube is where I have my phone mounted. My OCD won’t like my phone anywhere else but right in the middle 🤦🏻‍♂️

I don't think so but there are tools like this that go into your BB into the side of the cranks

@@ZadeWolve yes they do, but after a lot of consideration I installed Granite Stash RT Ratchet and made a phone mount to go on the little lid that slides back and forth using the Granite Scope Bike Computer Mount Converison Kit. It came out PERFECT!!!!
