I like your sponges! They look like cosmetic sponges except much bigger (unless you have tiny hands!) Where could I get sponges like that? After all these years of stenciling, I see your way of doing it is much better! Thank you! I just discovered your videos today and have been binge watching! I am putting together an order too!

Try any cosmetic store, Walmart, etc. they are available in a package, and cheap

Personally, I use these awesome stencil brushes from Melanie Royal studios - I've been using them for years, and have more control with her brushes, than these cosmetic sponges. IF you offload some of the paint with the brushes - and brush in a circle, you can get a good affect without leaking paint under the stencil. I do this professionally on furniture, so I need a good hand. Pouncing is not always the best way to load paint. Check out Royal Design studios...they have videos to teach ya.

Mary Beth, are you using acrylic paints? I could, of course, use this technique with AI. Am in love with your u-tubes!! Have ordered stencils from time to time but have not used in the way your demo shows! So MANY ideas!! Thanks.
