Hello Gina! Watching this video on Friday morn w/my cup o’ java! GREAT WAY to begin my day! :-) What a FABULOUS TECHNIQUE! I LOVE IT! Thank you so much for sharing! (And thanks to Kathy (or Cathy) as well!) BOTH of the cards are LOVELY n’ the Sentiments are PERFECT, too! I LOVE using Stencils but haven’t done so in quite a while so that’s ANOTHER PLUS to inspiring me to bring them out again, and with a NEW technique to boot! :-))) I really like the Color Palettes in the designs, and truly, the Purple n’ Aqua shades are oh, so pretty n’ soft! Of course, ANYTHING w/Vellum gets “softened” which I think is lovely. TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Sending BIG SMILES from Madison, WI!! :-))))) Just must add, too, that you n’ Tom were “a hoot” today! So many GREAT stories! I LOVED hearing about the “fancy restaurant experience”! My hubs caught some of that story and laughed out loud, too! (We BOTH could relate to your experience! Hahaha! KIDS, right??!!!) Of course, the “COWBOY” reference is a stitch so that brought more chuckles! (I’m sure that book sales for that novel have skyrocketed as well! Haha!). I DEFINITELY think Tom needs a Stetson!! Hope all goes well w/his COVID vaccination! More SMILES! :-))))))))

You can also dry emboss vellum. If you are careful and use super fine powder you can heat emboss small things like words also. Be creative and try things out on samples. I keep a spiral notebook with all my experiments and notes about what I tried.

Hehehe! I'm laughing about the fancy restaurant experience. Mark and I went to a place like that once, and the sweeteners were in a little wooden box with a hinged lid. Mark quickly realized that one of the gentlemen taking care of us would whisk by and close the sugar box anytime it was open. Needless to say, he thought it a fun little game to open the box and watch how quickly he floated through, doing his duty and disappearing at the same time moment. We still giggle about that evening.

The frame solves the adhesive on vellum problem- great! I haven’t watched you for years, I don’t know why-I’ve missed out. I will have to go to the KZbin feeds and catch-up. I like that you sell what you demonstrate so I don’t have to search for something if I want to buy it. Also, set aside 24 hours after your second COVID shot. I am also diabetic and I found I was very tired afterward. Perhaps not a good day to video tape...

I have now been retired since Oct, at the tail end of organizing my craft room as I have moved to many time and seems every time I just get organized I have to move!!!
