The project is coming out beautifully - It looks like the Christmas will be enjoyed at the new address this year. Building a house is not a child's play, you deserve to give yourself a pat on the back for achieving this massive ambition.

Thanks. There's still a bit of work to do so I'm not sure if I'll be done by Christmas. Also I had already decided earlier this year that I'll do the bathrooms and kitchen next year.

Keep planning and searching, you'll find something. This project was in my head for many years before buying the land so just keep the imagination active, it will just be a matter of time.

This Roof looks beautiful but looks can be deceiving. There is absolutely no bracing visible anywhere on the trusses. I'm glad this is not my roof. If this roof collapses, the builder and carpenter will most probably be long gone. I would also like to know who is the roofing inspector who signed off on this roof. This roof should never have passed an inspection.
