Step 5: Remove Crossing Branches

In this video we will discuss the 5th step to structural pruning. Removing crossing branches includes crossing branches, parallel branches, and branches growing in towards the middle. On spur producing fruit trees you can leave the spurs that are growing in towards the middle. Where you have three branches all growing out of one place, you can remove the middle branch to allow for more space for your tree to collect sun light.
