I logically want to know the logic behind adding proportionate/ FV of NCI at the beginning of acquisition to Consideration.

Hi there, why would you credit bank of $8 million at group level? At Company level it's true to credit bank of $8 million as the double entry i believe will be, debit cost of investment $8 million and credit bank $8 million to reflect the increase in cost of investment and payment for the investment. However, at group level, it should be debit NCI and debit OCE (as per your slides) but credit cost of investment? Kindly correct me if i am wrong. Thanks.
