I went to Beamish just after Christmas and it surpassed my expectations,its so imersive , absorbing and interesting, I easily spent a day there and will go back when I can .

Thanks for watching, we find the staff and volunteers there so knowledgeable and friendly, they are always happy to answer any questions or just have a chat. I think that is one of the main things that makes it so interesting.❤️

You really should visit, it’s an incredible day out and they are adding bits all the time. It’s one of our favourite places to go to locally. Thanks for watching guys❤️

@@alandciskasmohotravels yes, I think we will at some point. Looks like the car park will take a MH for the day too. Would need to find a parkup for the night after👍

@Eurosully there is a park up 5 mins walk from the museum which is on Park4night and the Shepherd and Shepherdess pub does great food too.

Its a great place to visit but you do need a few visits to explore all that it has to offer. Have subscribed to your channel.

@@alandciskasmohotravels yes the cinema is nearly complete now so should be open this year. If I find out when I will let you know. I have lots of Beamish pics and videos on my channel which might be of interest to you. Take care for now

London to Newcastle, air in June. Based in Newcastle then bus 28, on the hour every house ,ie 0903 . About 50 minutes fare £2. Show your bus ticket at Beamish and get a discount. You can get bus 29 but it goes all around the Houses. Lots to see but it was a two day trip for us. I was their twenty years ago. Spend sometime talking to staff at the various places and get a real feel for the history. We will be back, and explore more and the North East. Next time by train and hire a car.

Thanks for watching, we are so lucky to have this on our doorstep and the annual tickets make it really cot effective too. You are right about chatting to the staff as well, they area all so knowledgeable about the areas they are working in. Ciska spends a lot of time talking to the ones doing the crafting getting ideas for her own projects.
