I do my nails almost every other day. Every time I’m bored, stressed or go on Pinterest, I end up spending like 4-5 hours on my nails lol.

I’m a leftie too! I do my nails at the end of every week (while I have on KZbin!😊) - it is so therapeutic. Your tutorial was awesome!

Another lefty here. I also prefer to do my own nails. I keep them super short and change polish every 3-4 days because I get bored of the color quickly.
@cvma24304 жыл бұрын
For the cleaning up you have to do afterwards everything is finished, you should try using a thin brush with a bit of acetone, it leaves your nails looking like you just left the salon! Very professional looking. I loved your tutorial!

I put vaseline/petroleum jelly around the skin around all the fingers/cuticles and then place the acetone/polish remover on the nail for 6 seconds and wipe off the color. No color will stay on the skin and the cuticles will be conditioned. No mess. My method. It works and it's super easy.
@melissaosoria4 жыл бұрын
Try holding the cotton ball on your polish for like 5 seconds and then wipe off that way you don’t get nail polish all over your fingers

For pushing back cuticles I like to use some cuticle oil (with my old manicure still on) I use an orange wood stick and the oil soaks in rather than using a water soak. Then I’ll use zoya remove plus to remove the old polish but my cuticles have been pre-treated to help protect against the acetone 😉
@psychologicallyspeaking2 жыл бұрын
Very smart! My cuticles are so dry i just dread the remover so much. Will do this right now!

i would put the nail polish BEFORE the hand cream instead of putting hand cream, whipping your nail to take away the creams and then putting polish, it seems like a lot of unnecessary steps.

You had an Essie summer nail polish in one of your favorites awhile back and that’s what got me back into nail polish again! I love having my nails done and just doing them is so theraputic!

I'm guessing it was matter of fiction since that's what I wear SO OFTEN. It really is so relaxing to sit down and do them!

Love the color an it looks very clean but I go all the way up to the cuticle other wise it looks like only part of the nail is polished especially when it grows out. If it gets on my actual cuticle it clean it up with a thin brush.
@kassidyzambrano86025 жыл бұрын
How do you get them to last so long? I enjoy switching up my colors anyways but I wish they would last at least 5 days I use Essie polish and seche vite top coat!
@SarahBrithinee5 жыл бұрын
I think a lot of it has to do with the prep. I keep my nails pretty short so it makes them hit less things in my daily life and I also think that buffing them really helps the polish stay on way longer.

Thank you so much for sharing, especially about not cutting the cuticles, that is one of the reasons I had stopped to do my nails at the salon, because it hurt so much. I am left handed too and thank you for giving me an idea on how to do as a lefthanded person, As someone who is interested in doing nails as an extra income business I thank you so much for sharing. 💅💕💕💕

Essie Gel top coat is the best one I've ever tried. It never chips before I want to change colors, which never happens with any other top coat on my weak, thin nails. The only issue I find with fast drying top coats is it shrinks the polish at the tips so it will look like my nails have already grown out a few hours after I paint them. Drives me a bit crazy.
@SarahBrithinee5 жыл бұрын
I know that one works SO well for tons of people & that's amazing that it works that well for you! I wish it worked for me, but the others I've tried work better for my nails. I've never had that shrinkage look, but it'd def drive me crazy too!
@iwillstom5 жыл бұрын
Sarah Brithinee Definitely going to try that base coat. The one I use dries up before I use half the bottle.

If you don't like the Essie brushes, but like the color, I'd recommend buying the color "Raisin The Roof" by sinful colors. They have thinner brushes. It is a VERY similar color to the one she is using.

Your top coat..... out the door..... does it shrink? Sometimes my Seche Vite does ..... have used it for years..... but looking for a top coat that doesn't shrink. Beautiful nails btw! Thank you for the video
@SarahBrithinee5 жыл бұрын
So I've been hearing this a lot about shrinking and I've never had an issue with it before. I've never tried that particular top coat, but mine doesn't do that on my nails. I've never used a top coat that does it though.
