this is amazing. a beautiful painting and beautifully explained. I have never painted yet feel like i could conquer this with your instruction!! the only time you lost me a little was the middle ground where you were using a bunch of different colors and brushes and was difficult to see what you were doing where - this is why you were demonstrating that the paint is a little thicker and so has more coverage. Overral what a great job!

Thank you so much! 🎨😊 Gad you found the tutorial helpful! Also the part you mentioned in the middle can be freestyled however you like since it gets covered with texture and grass in the end anyway…a solid coat of brown or dark green would work just fine, I was just free styling myself 😄

Going to try this out! One question. When you added the brown white to the peaks was the base brown dry and the field background was that dry as well

Yes, typically acrylic paint dries very quickly so the layers are dry in between major steps. If you want the colors to blend into the colors you are layering then you need to work quickly so you are still able to pick up some of the color. This one is a favorite! Happy Painting :D
