Good Tutorial for Basic Config of ASA. I don't think we really need OSPF config as both the interfaces are Directly connected on ISP Router.

May I know why you did not configure the DMZ ?
@shahzadzafarsiddiqui23244 жыл бұрын
DNZ is not must requirement for setting up a Firewall... It is required when you have some assets that need to be accessed from outside.... like you have a email server that needs to be accessed from outside as well as inside... of course with some security policies....

hi ad, why i can not create a int vlan on ASA (packet tracer 7.2.0.0226), and the sub interface (ciscoasa(config)# int vlan 1, ciscoasa(config)#int g1/1.1 => % Invalid input detected at '^' marker.)
@lucylu71612 жыл бұрын
That would be good with DMZ setup

You made this more.complex than it needed to be.. for the firewall why did you just use 192.168.1.0 and 192.168.2.0 for inside and outside on firewall ? You used to completley random ip adresses ?
@equipoinformatico31962 жыл бұрын
with static ip?

why are you reverting the configuration which take so much time like "no vlan, no dhcp etc", when all you can do is "write erase" and all the startup configurations are erased and then use "reload" to reboot the ASA and it is fresh with no configuration at all!
