Hope this video will help you wear the dhoti in traditional Bengali style. In the beginning I’ve shown draping using a proper dhoti. In the second part of the video I’ve shown draping with a saree. Also explained ironing techniques.

Nice demonstration👍while using a saree, instead of making into equal halves at the beginning, you can have more fabric to the right, so that the pleats at the front will be more.... Also tucking at the back will be simpler🙏

Be careful with ironing the silk sarees. You may damage them. Put a cotton cloth on the saree xloth, then iron on low heat to keep the long life of the saree.

Can you please show draping of south indian dhothi. My son doesnt drape properly, he doesnt allow me to help him. Most of the time, his dhoti slips off , its so embarrassing especially in crowded temple.
