This is exactly why I appreciate the efforts made by people like mr. Bose. I'm a 4th generation Surinamese/Dutch Hindustani out of India. Our ancestors tried to hold on to our Bhartiya Sanskriti as much as possible. Ofcourse we're now also very much Westerners after we were taken out of India 151 years ago, but we never allowed our culture and traditions to fade away. As an outsider, all I can say is that, do master the English language, but never forget to put your own Matre Bhasa first. There's nothing wrong in wearing Western clothes, but always know the value of your own traditional attire.
