That's all well and good for someone who has a nice flat garage floor. It's a whole 'nuther world when all you have is a sloped, uneven gravel driveway or rough rocky ground to attach/detach the mower on. I've had to get very creative to do that on our Ozarks property ... involving using the fork lift attachment, bricks and some considerable cussing to do it. 😀

I have a rock/ dirt floor in my garage. I have 46 hours on my Kioti cs2510 with 60 inch belly mower. I have never washed my mower deck(sorry I know !) and have mowed just under 2 acres since June. It took me all 15 minutes to take the deck off and get ready for snow. ( I'm not mechanically inclined at all!!) Best video thank you Sean. I'm not sure why people are having issues. I hope everyone figures it out as easy as I did. I just followed step by step pausing the video as I did each step. I hope installation in the spring is as easy. I did lube/grease everything so hopefully that makes it easier to hook back up. Happy Kioti tractor owner, love my Kioti. Do you sell a complete 50 hour service kit for hydrostatic. that I could order and pay shipping? Let me know. Thanks

I've got a Deere 420 that is older than the hills... I'm starting to shop for it's replacement and... umm... This video is almost identical to what I have to do! I was really hoping that one of these other companies would make their own quick connect deck like Deere. I'm 45 now and my next tractor I'm planning to be my last tractor! LOL So in 25 years when I can't climb under to pull the deck on/off, this is kind of a big deal. Also... what happens to the rear lift arms/links when you are using the 3pt? Do they move up and down and need to be removed?

First time i removed the deck it was pretty easy. My big issue was when sliding the deck out, i hit the hydraulic filter with the deck. Didnt put a hole in it but did dent it. Great machine but that filter location isnt good. Its pretty much the lowest point under the tractor and uts not protected. Be careful sliding the deck in or out.

Great video Are there any videos on mounting the front snowblower to a cs2410

We don't have one yet, but that's a great idea for an upcoming video! If you're looking for the initial install, that is pretty extensive and typically we recommend having the dealership do it, but after the initial install, the attachment itself can be taken off and put back on pretty easily!

I have a CS2220 I just purchased used from a guy who had it since July 2023 and it has 50hrs on it. I’m guessing he left it outside as there is a decent amount of rust underneath for only having it 4 months. Either way took forever to get the deck off. The PTO coupler was a little stuck but got that loose however the pto shaft would not slide towards the front of the tractor. It’s stuck where the two yokes meet in the middle. Video makes it look like they should slide really easy. Will the two pieces slide completely apart? Any advice for getting them to separate? So far I’ve tried several rounds of PB Blaster. Heating the outer sleeve with a torch and hitting it with a mallet while holding the other end in a vise.

Yes, the PTO shaft should slide completely apart. Your's must have some rust there that is keeping it from doing that.

I just did it for the first time. The rear ones were a bitch until I jiggled the deck a bit. Then they popped right out.

You will never get those lift links out that easy, even on the flattest of concrete floors. And you'll never get them on this easy, either. It's not a horrible design, but this is misleadingly easy.

We did nothing misleading here Eric! Wondering if something on your machine may need some lubrication or grease and that's why you are having some issues. Happy to help diagnose any issues you may be having!

@@noltspowerequipment Hi Guys. I'm sure you weren't intentionally misleading. Your videos are superb. This is my 2nd CS. Had a 2017 and then traded up to a 2022 with the better bucket kickstand and controls. In a perfect environment perhaps it works this way a few times. But in real-world use I assure you that things don't go together this easily. The PTO also doesn't just slide right on every time, and if you are over 30 years old it is quite a contortion to reach under there to connect it. Trust the experience of those who've been putting them on and taking them off several times a week in the real world for 2 generations of these tractors. As I said, it isn't a bad design but it isn't quite this smooth of a process in your driveway or barn. Even the slightest bit of slope or uneven terrain makes it very hard. Grease might help, but if you've ever greased external components in real world use you'd be shocked at how much more dirt they collect. That makes it worse. A spud wrench is your friend to line up the holes. Every tractor owner should have one. The drive-over deck is a huge improvement, for sure. Still love my Kioti. Best bang for the buck in compact tractors.
