I just installed mine , and I want to know if there’s a little buzzing sound on the condenser outer unit. It goes away when I put it on mute mode. Other than that it’s working fine.

Your black wire is installed incorrectly on the outdoor unit. It is not under the screw terminal properly.

Why is it important to have 8 in. clearance on the top and 14 in. on either side?

@@TurbroStore Thanks for the reply. I understand why clearance on the top and sides of the indoor unit is important. I don't understand why it needs 8 feet below it. We only have about 6 feet below it.

14awg wire on a 20amp breaker....wow this is a fire waiting to happen...you guys should review your materials with experts before posting..

Also outdoor conduit is considered a wet location, and NM (Romex) is not rated for install in wet locations. It would need to be THHN wire for this install as well. Not to mention the massive over-stripping of length on all the AC connections as well, the hot lead was stripped out past the end of the breaker when it was installed!

14AWG is the guage the manual calls for for 115V 20A breaker. Is this a fire hazard?

@@PAULAKEITH-m7m 14 should be fine. Certainly if your whip is only 2 or 3 feet long and using stranded wire like THHN. Stranded wire is a bit better than solid wire carrying current. Along with the fact that the unit isn't typically going to be using anywhere near 20 amps and more likely half that or less except in extreme conditions. All that said. 14ga is the bare minimum that should be used. If 12 or even 10 is easily available then use it. Over building is never a bad idea.
