I’m not aware of any rules that say you can’t. However, note that the embassy will have difficulties verifying the details in your bank account where it is from a 3rd party country. If they cannot verify and you do not meet other requirements, then it will adversely affect the outcome of your application. It is always best to err on the side of caution.

You do not require proof from your landlord that she’ll stay with you. Mentioning it in your letter and including the address is sufficient.

Even if your trip is sponsored, part of good planning involves knowing the estimated cost of your trip. E.g how much your sponsor would make available to you for the trip or how much of your own money is available for the trip.

Hi, please, you didn’t make mention of student going on a visit. I’m in my 3rd year in Uni. I applied for a visitor’s visa Of which I was denied 3days ago but I want to reapply again. My school will be vacating on 4th June. Can I reapply? I was denied in the basis of me not been able to prove how I have a particular amount in my savings and how I’m able to support myself in my home country and strong ties. Possibly. Given your past denial, I’m of the opinion that a holiday won’t be a sufficient reason for you to be granted one, because you don’t appear to have enough ties back home. Yes, you will be required to disclose past denials.

If you’re a student going on vacation alone and your brother is the one sponsoring your trip and you don’t have evidence of the funds in your possession, and no other fall back plan, they will not be convinced that your story is genuine. The odds are already against you. I.e if you are going on a vacation that you cannot afford. Again, the purpose of your trip is relevant.
