As a Nigerian working and residing in China for more than 8 years, My family lives in Canada, My wife, My 7 years old and 4 months old daughters, I have been refused 3 times already, in all my applications (The first application was a Visitor visa, Second and third was an Open work permit) I did not add any ties in my home country which is Nigeria I only added my country of residence (China). Also, my wife's home country which is (South Africa). I have business and properties in South Africa, still, I was refused. please your advice is needed. Thank you.

Depending on the circumstances, ties to your country of residence should be sufficient.

@otom tom, i will be going for my graduation and to spend holiday in Belgium and Luxembourg respectively , my certification and current job do not relate , is my letter of appointment,leave letter , bank statement and salary slip enough to prove strong ties? Ive been working for more than 2 years though , but an uncle from Luxembourg is sponsoring

The embassy will determine what is enough. Yours is to present your best case. A good paying job can be sufficient proof of ties.

Hallo Sis OTO, I find your videos helpful, I would like to be advised by you if possible, I have been denied a Schengen Visa to Germany I guess it is because I marked myself mistakenly as unemployed, But I have a registered Business here in SA that is facing hiccups here and there but I am registered and have all the documents certified in 2020 and the business in status is active, Can I use that when I reapply and another reason that is my strongest tie to my country is that I have a spiritual gift and I will be much spending time here at home for rituals that are done/ performed culturally as I grow into this journey of being an African healer. Then give yourself atleast 15 clear days for submission. I would do up to 20 days for the avoidance of doubt.

My UK visit visa was rejected because I did not have proof of financial ties. They stated that they are looking at my personal circumstance and not only for my sponsor. I am unemployed with very little savings (my father is my sponsor) if my father transfers part of his land to me and the title deed is in my name can I use that as a tie? or will they say I only did it for the Visa?

The transfer of title to you does not automatically improve your circumstances. Your visa application would still be denied.

Good evening madam, please, can you advise me on what to do concerning the issue of bank statements. My account has been without money for a very long time, and during the period I was to go to South African Embassy to apply for a visit visa, I deposited a good sum of money into my account which I acquired through a business transaction. So, when I went to the South African Embassy for my Visa application, the lady who received my documents, checked my documents and asked me to go and bring an active bank statement for the past 6 months. I have my work contract documents, pay slips and can get my leave approval letter. and also have my marriage certificate and my kids national population birth certificate and family photos, marriage photos. 50/50 You have to show that your private business generates a sustainable income to pay for your trip and also cater to your family, otherwise you would be considered a flight risk.
