Step by step guide to repairing LG Washer that does not turn on

LG washer does not turn on. The Circuit board had to be swapped out, as their was a burned out area on the board.
It doesn't take too long to figure out if the circuit board is bad. Just following the beginning part of the video will tell you if the circuit board is bad.
If it is then swap it with a new/used one found online, and use this video as a guide to fully remove and reinstall the circuit board to bring your LG washing machine back to life.
This repair procedure should take around 1 Hour to complete.
**** NOTE: The part number is on the back of the case/cover where the circuit board is. You will have to use that to look up your part and to buy online.

I think your video is awesome very easy to follow. I am worried about replacing my blown board because someone told me that a bad door switch or pump may have blown the board so I am worried I need to look for the primary cause now before spending around 200 dollars. The board seems to have a blown resister but may have other issues. I am going to hook on a new resister and see if it works but meantime going to try checking the door switch and pump and motor

this is replacement not repair. I do hope there is repair video, The used board might cost $200 so not worth to replace.

The way to repair it would be to do soldering. But then you also need to find the component.

Your video is good I am also having a washing machine like this but the panel is not functioning the panel is not supplying the direct drive the diagram is working but the panel is not supplying

This video is about replacing not physically fixing it. Some people don't know how to solder or take the time to learn or understand to solder or buy spare batteries or relays to solder it in correctly. They just want to swap parts...look at the auto industry or other trades. They could fix the part (or board in this case) or they could swap it. These trade professions swap a part even though they could fix a part on site instead of wasting time going to the store to buy a part. It's a matter of preference, but if your looking for a faster fix then swapping is the way to go, and this video is meant for those who want to resolve their issue as fast as possible.

​@@RandomFixesDIY I respectfully disagree. I've diagnosed and replaced individual circuit board components on lots of devices, but replacement is the only move in this case. That clear, gooey layer on the board you removed is the silicone that they poured over it to keep out air and water so the components and connections wouldn't corrode. The board is literally drowned in silicone, so it's more or less permanently glued to its box. To de-solder any of the components (which is step 1 of circuit diagnostics), you would need to get to the other side of the board. Yeah, that board that's glued to the box... Good luck getting it out intact. I will be replacing the board just like you did. Well, not what you did to those poor blue clips with the pry bar, that hurt to watch. But I'll definitely be buying a replacement board online and putting it in myself. Thanks for the video. I found the disassembly instructions helpful and it was good to see what I was getting into before I started.

if every time the pcb board is defective.then you are replace the new board, useless boss.you are not technician you dont know how to repair cause you dont know what the main problem or reason why?why? and why?damage the psu of machine.and main component damages.if you replace it 1 or 2 component only like diode,triac or mosfets or IC's so the people watching you is we believed you are technician.

What you say is true about the root cause not being addressed however we should be thankful that people are investing their time to help others.
