Yes, the Clivus Argentarius is kind of inside the Forum but it is not inside the part you have to pay to see. Excellent video, have been to Rome 4x and your tour was superlative. We did a bicycle tour from 6:30 to 11 pm with an outstanding guide, which we got on the north side of the Colleseum. The Forum is amazing at 2000 yrs old.

Love this!! I followed along using Google Maps and Google Street View, and it helped a lot. I will probably re-visit this video a few times before my Rome trip as a refresher, so I familiarize myself with the route. A couple of questions: can you exit Basilica di Santa Francesca to the left/South, and use any walkways to the Arch of Titus, or do you have to double-back to the Colosseum and go via Via Sacra? I couldn't really tell if there were any gates or anything. Also, the Piazza di Santa Francesca Romana- is this considered part of Palatine Hill? It seems to have a great view of the Colosseum. But all of the pictures I saw...it didn't seem particularly crowded, so I wondered. Thanks!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and hope you will try out the walk yourself! Currently you cannot exit the Basilica towards the Arch of Titus. I0m not sure which piazza you are referring to that has great views of the Colosseum but is uncrowded...maybe you are referring to the space in front of the Temple of Venus and Roma? This is behind the church of Santa Francesca Romana and it is part of the Roman Forum. Hope that helps!

The walk that I did in this video, as I mentioned at the end, takes about an hour without stopping. But you can take your time and stop at some of these locations and it could take 2 or more hours.
