Have you ever heard of the brand Arctic Fox? They're a fairly new-ish hair dye company, but I've recently started using their teal color, and it is AMAZING! They say it lasts through at least 40 washes, and it smells like grape soda. It's pretty rad! That just sounded like the worst sales pitch ever, good grief. But they really are a cool company. :D

I thought the "rinsing for hours" thing was an exaggeration until I actually dyed my hair! After 20 minutes of rinsing the water was still bright pink! In the end I just gave up and took your word for it. Very helpful video; my hair is super bright and looks awesome.

I've found using Auqaphor ointment to protect scalp works well. It protects skin, yet is easier to remove and absorbs well into the skin. (Yes, I am male and have a mohawk)

Also. Try Tressa Xtremers in Fuchsia. I mixed it with conditioner and it was still neon pink. it lasted for a while.. but like an idiot I didn't want to deal with it and didn't have money for more dye so I dyed it black...

This was so great! I've always loved your hair and I like dyeing mine every now and again. Bleaching has in the past been kinda a pain for me, but I think this will really help! I just finished dyeing it a straight dark color, but the next time I do something really fun like pink or blue, I'll look this up again! P.S THANK you for the coconut oil tip! I hate the way bleach stings my scalp. I was also wondering if that works for box hair dye? Like when you color your hair a dark color without bleaching, cuz that stuff is so strong it kinda hurts! Bailee Kaufman Yes it will work for regular dark dye as well! It helps to leave it in overnight before you color too:)

Hi! My name is Sam, I dyed a fushia and it faded to hot pink with still some fragments of fushia, it's as bright as yours but I don't use splat. I use Special Effects Virgin Rose and Pimpin Purple, they last in my hair a whole lot longer than other brands. Try special effects? I think, in my opinion, it's the best on the market.

Have you tried Manic Panic? It's a vegan dye and the color lasts for a good 2 months before it fades to a weird color lol they have over 20 colors

i didnt use and conditioner in my blue splat dye and its still vibrant after 2 weeks+ but it does dripp blue when u finish showererin it will alot but goes away

I bought red splat dye, and normally wouldnt bleach my hair since red shows up fine in my brown hair (obviously it's more of a dark red though), but am now considering bleaching my hair... Will bleaching my hair only take one time to bleach it? or does it require multiple bleaching sessions, or whatever? I have super long dark(ish) brown hair (like, down past my waist). Would bleaching it take as much time as bleaching your roots did (like an hour?)

It depends on how dark your current color is. My roots are good with one bleach, as is most virgin hair, but if you have dyed black hair, it takes multiple bleachings and sometimes never lightens up enough. Good luck dear!

6Craziness6 I have hair past my waist, and when I dye it with Manic Panic one bottle is normally enough, although I sometimes will buy two just in case. :) I'm pretty sure Manic Panic is only like $9 though, so in total, buying two things is like around $20, which isn't too much money. Splat is like $15 though

I remember one of the first times I dyed my hair, I didn't rinse till the water ran out; it was taking wayyyy too long haha. But the next day it was raining and I was outside at a fate and the rain made the colour run....I had tinted purple water running down my face and on my clothes :') Won't be doing that again xD

Elvea Skyefal check out training your hair to be less greasy. Its a little rough in the beginning but dry shampoo is life and apple cider vinegar diluted and your hair should be all good. I'm wanting to go purple soon too.

Did anyone else cringe by seeing the title of this video? I love Ariel and I think she looks fabulous with pink hair, but it's time to leave the pink alone. Does anyone else notice how damage her hair looks? She talks about self- love, but she is literally killing her hair by repeatedly bleaching and dying it. I understand that she was getting prepared to go on tour and wanted to make sure her hair looked its best. Hopefully, she'll give her hair a much-needed rest (by letting her color grow out and fade) after her tour ends.
