One day when I was 12, my uncle gifted me a harmonica. Naturally, I decided to look up lessons on KZbin since I sucked at it. I watched a video about a man teaching me how to hold the harmonica and eat It like a sandwich. Now I am 21 and I still possess the same skill-set as I did when I was only a fragile, attention deficit having boy. Today, after 8 years of chanting "at-tic-ca" into my harmonica, I will finally get my second harmonica lesson at the age of 21. I don't know if I should thank you for ending my torment, or despise you for teasing me with the hope of possessing a fraction of your skills. Either way, You will lose a half-lifetime subscriber if you make me wait another 8 years.

Finally back, was in hospital for 9 weeks, due to couple surgeries gone bad from 2019. Just got cleared to play harmonica again so I’m a happy harper😉

So, I'm 49 years old and have never picked up a harmonica. The last week I have purchased 2. Lol..... ima watch this entire series and hope you can teach an old dog a new trick. The 2 I picked up were in the key of A and the other is E I plan on using them for 12 bar blues. I watched a handful of teachers and frankly yer pretty good at this teaching thing as well as being a pretty sweet harmonica player. It seems you are able to shed light on the common mistakes that maybe you made early so those stumbling points are avoided by me the new fella. Thanks ahead of time for teaching me.

Im catching your videos passively right now but hope to use them soon as I acquire a C scale harmonica...I found a 24-hole Hohner Weekender Tremolo harmonica in a family stash of old stuff. It was made in China and looks like someone kept it in a 1950´s box since it was made and well, I hope to make use of it at some point soon. Thank you for your videos! eek, I am reading that my Tremolo is a poor product. Guess I´ll be holding off on that even further lol

Great tutorial, bought a harmonica right after the first vid. Personally I find to get the notes better when I put s little more pressure on the harmonica against my mouth. Don't know if that i should press a bit or not, but for now it works. Subscribed.

Mr. Toad how quickly you improve is directly related to how much time you put into playing and practicing. 3-6 months you should be really rocking with the right amount of time put in.
