I can’t be sure, but I believe it should be a part of the factory harness that plugs into the new radio.

Hey! I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze LT with the Pioneer speaker system. This is the first model year that was required to have a backup camera, so my dashboard looks different. Instead of that small LCD screen, it’s a 7 inch screen. The physical buttons are exactly the same. I would have to mount the wireless backup camera to the license plate of my car. The factory backup camera cannot connect to this infotainment system. I was wondering if, besides the backup camera, do you know if everything else is still compatible?

I believe it is supposed to interface with the factory options.

If it doesn’t connect wirelessly, then it should automatically connect once you plug it into the provided USB dongles!

I’m not familiar but most units have a volume correction. Also if it’s only happening on Bluetooth, try turning the volume down on your phone.

I have this same stereo and I haven’t been able to connect to my apple CarPlay. It seems like it’s either not finding my device, it stays on the connecting screen. Do you have any idea how to fix this? Also the language on my dash went to Chinese. Can’t seem to find a way to change it to English. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had this issue. My unit came with 2 usb cables. I could not connect to apple carplay until i tried the other usb cable. Maybe the usb cable is faulty. The phone would charge but not connect.

Do you still have turn signal sounds? I lost mine and can’t get them back….the small speaker that the android unit came with is installed, but still no sound. Maybe a setting on the android?

At 06:18 I saw that you trimmed your panel to fit the multimedia wires,theirs no need to do that cause you can adjust all these wires by unscrewing the 4 little screws behind the multimedia and move all these plugs down.

How dark does it go and does it bother when driving in the dark?

Because they are plug n play with your factory wiring, they will auto dim when the headlights are on! There is a dimmer in the menu as well.

Hi from NZ, could you please tell me if you ever sorted the A/C controls, I have installed an android head unit from AliExpress (Ruancheng store) into a 2013 Holden (Chevy) Cruze, almost everything works fine, the only thing on the A/C is the ‘MODE’ does not work, did you mange to sort this or could you provide me any information that could assist to finding a solution Thanks in advance TR

That mode will only work if your car originally had the auto climate control. Not a lot of cruzes did!

I have a 2016 and this 'looks' like its the same one, but the one listed on the website says for 08-13. Is there one for 2016?

I do know that here in Canada 2016 was a crossover year where they had 2 body styles. If yours is the older 11-15 then this unit shown should work for you.

I installed the same radio on my 2012 Cruze, but now my speakers sounds weak on when I get past 30 on my volume, and a lot distortion as I go up. Should I get an aftermarket amp for it?

Try adjusting the volume levels within the settings of the radio. There are separate settings for Bluetooth volume, gps volume etc!

That depends on your model of Cruze. Most basic and mid level trims won’t

Just installed one yesterday. For the love of God people, do not cut anything. You do not need to cut anything. I would bet anything his modules coming off the wiring harness were hitting and you snip the zip tie holding the wires together, you can drop them lower and through the groove in the middle of the mounting area where nothing hits.

My radio looks identical to the one in the video and I ran into the same problem where the heat sink is hitting the old mounts. I made sure it wasn't hitting any of the wiring or anything because I actually read your comment before I installed mine but yup... the heat sink is definitely touching and preventing the bottom screw holes from reaching. I could probably ask Seicane to send me the proper one for my car but I didn't want to wait so I just cut it like he did.

Guys I need a help with the tesla system,I installed mine today on a cruze and the steering buttons aren't working, another issue that I have is in the ac interface, when I opened the ac or adjust the temp nothing saws on the dash and every time I switch off it losing time and date.I can't figure out what I did wrong.

Finally I found a solution to that and the steering wheel buttons and ac functions worked. I have gone to factory settings-canbus settings and set my car as a chevrolet aveo 2011 ,damn 😂😂😂

There are settings for volume adjustments for Bluetooth, aux, gps etc! Try adjusting those settings.
