I received my Cut Kit last week and just this past Saturday, attempted to do my bag lids for the first time ever doing much of any kind of body work on anything! Cutting my bag lids was definitely something I did not really want to do but, I had confidence due to watching your video's Jay. Well, it took most of the day but got it done. Not happy of course with the hole but, it will work. I should have used the one handed saw you used in this video, instead of the traditional skill saw. When the traditional skill saw passes around the front, it wants to move inward. I had to do some trimming in order to get the two pieces to mate up and take all 4 screws. Today is Sunday and I am not working on the bike today as I am giving myself time to think before I do the other bag lid. On a good note, I did install the front fairing speaker's, SoundStream radio and all cabling. Ran my power and speaker down under tank and all that went well. Connected the power to the battery and tested the system, without the rear speakers. I must say, I could tell the difference as soon as noise came out of the speaker's! Absolute night and day between what was and was is now!

@@volunteeraudio anything worth doing, is worth doing right. I do have a question, if so may sir. How do the new Kappa speakers perform with the Hertz amp? With it being a 3 ohm speaker, and the amp supports 2 or 4 ohm, I would be concerned about performance and longevity

@@HvyMetal4Ever they are meant to work on 4ohm amplifiers, infinity knows you will get a few more watts while not dropping impedance down enough to damage the amp

@volunteeraudio Жыл бұрын
You cannot use the tourpack harness because on 22 and newer models that harness is not available yet to adapt to the tourpack plug. I always suggest an amplifier as part of any upgrade and our plug n play hertz options have an added connector so you can run a new backbone harness and lid disconnect harnesses.
