I sometimes miss my mechanical drawing classes and architectural design classes from high school. Senior year you had to design a home from scratch with all the necessary drawings from foundation to the roof. I actually won 🏅 the blue ribbon from a prestigious trade school, but blew it all off as I was expecting to be heading to Viet Nam shortly (but it never happened)…so I went to automotive school instead 🤷‍♂️. You just have to train your brain to see things differently and it gets easier. Nice job Mikey! 👍👍

Thank you! I’m working towards a plumbing certificate at my local community college and this helped a lot! I didn’t completely understand what you said about the fixtures/p-traps being at different elevations, but I’ll watch this video one hundred more times and eventually the light bulb will go turn on in my head. The student will design/create a 2 storey isometric residential home with a drain plan of the underground plumbing. Included in the home the student will install all DWV for at least 12 fixtures. The student will determine the size and layout of the home along with the layout of the plumbing system. The drawing is to be scaled to a measurement chosen by the student. All drains will be shown in red and all the vents will to shown in dotted green. Included with the drawing the student will provide a legend, title block, table with fixture units for each fixture and total fixture units for the home. Do you know how I would even begin on doing this as I've tried looking at things on KZbin and it doesn't explain much at all.

So when I took the state of Florida license master plumbers exam in July 2023 I believe I had five isometric drawings only for drainage waste vent. That was it. No water piping no gas piping just drainage and vent piping. The only thing I can suggest is to learn how to make use of the available space of that 8 1/2 x 11 piece of isometric paper, if you run out of room, you cannot tape together another piece to extend it it does not have to be to scale right keep that in mind, but it Hass to show direction of flow and it Hass to theoretically work and remember poop does not go uphill

What code does Florida use? Wet venting allowed? What fitting is that where you have the WC, FD, and Tub all connecting to waste stack at same elevation?

This has NOTHING to do with fittings and what's allowed and NOT allowed. This is about drawing an isometric. That's it. And for the record, it's called a National.
