Tracie, I really appreciate this video. I’m a retired nurse in Canada, who for the life of me, cannot afford most anything anyone is bringing out for all of us to play with, and I went away from junk journaling for nearly 2 years now and lost my mojo because I was so sad I couldn’t make anything as pretty as some creators. It’s not their fault, I want to be clear. If someone can afford things like this, all the best to them. I’m so happy for everyone who can, and I don’t look down on anyone. But I was so sad that I had to stop creating and using my creativity for 2 years, while most everyone bought all the goodies as I’ve seen in some craft room tours. Those were my last videos I watched. Now some creators are doing their best to create what those of us can afford, and I am now playing again. I’ve never owned more than 3 downloaded digital anything til about a week ago when Margreth had some freebies for us, you had some freebies for us (thank you darling and I hope I didn’t take too much as I was so excited and giddy getting some of my first digitals), Julie and a few others had some freebies for us to snag. To everyone, I’m so thankful, and I thank you. Bless you Tracie!❤❤❤

well, I'm a fan of making things out of every piece of this and that....since I started doing this JJ thing, in 2018, I've been on a very very limited budget, and I cannot buy all the things I want to which make things easy, and I have done fine...now unfortunately the world around us is seeing my life everyday...but all is good, and I find joy wherever I can in creating things basically from scratch. I appreciate these ideas, we can all learn to be happy with what we already have, because, well we have to .... we must craft on, it's important to have a purpose! thanks for sharing these with us. This will all make us better...xoxo

I like all of these videos where we just can see your hands and hear all different voices with American, English and German accents. All of you make the same things but with different creations, which make all these channels rich and interesting. I love watching your ideas shown on different pieces of papers mixtures with fabrics and recycled materials, new materials and a wide sort of tools; which some are expensive and others are cheap, using all your imagination and charm. TYSM to all DIY KZbinrs.

So happy I found this video while browsing utube. As you say it’s so disheartening when you see all the lovely new items being released and you can’t afford them. But like you, I love a challenge, and try to make as many materials as I can. I make my own texture pastes, gesso, etc. I have an envelope punch board which I get a lot of use from, so it’s always great to come across new ideas to extend the use of the equipment we’ve already got. Thanks for the wonderful ideas, I look forward to increasing my stash. Maybe in these very difficult times, we ought to make more than we need and share. 😊

These were fun, Tracie. Looking forward to pulling out my punch board and making them soon. And, too - look at you, using imperial measurements!!! I remember when you wouldn't even say the word "inches." And times are tough all over. I think we must all just hang on until things improve. People forget we had a long pandemic which isn't over (probably never will be) and and has effected all the world and all systems. Hugs to you, Tracie.

Hehehe, as most of the punch boards, score boards and cutting things use inches I did have to learn! I still have no real clue what all the 5/8 really are lol xxx

Fabulous tutorial and ideas. Thank you so much. Creativity costs nothing. Years ago I taught a card making class at a ladies retreat where I showed them how to use everything without spending any money. The only true craft supply I used was an ink pad. Everything else was readily available in our homes. The ladies were so creative and had a wonderful time. I made 30 demo cards for ideas and they ran with it. When we don’t have all the stuff available nowadays it is still a possibility to create marvelous art. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦

I heard your name mentioned when someone said " tracy labels", so this is the first one of your videos I've seen and I really liked your inovative ideas for using one product. I usually avoid buying things that can only be used one way, but you showed the versatility of this product. I liked your video because it "moved along", and I prefer ones that seem prepared and show me multiple ways of doing things. Thank you so much. You are very inspiring.

Love this and thank you Tracie ⭐️ I grudge paying the often exorbitant prices for crafting materials. Adore salvaging and repurposing to create and make one’s own ephemera. It just doesn’t feel the same to buy it all. Fortunately, I live in the middle of a forest so am surrounded by a myriad of free materials. I’m currently learning to make own inks and papers. So far, I’ve made paint brushes and pens from twigs and feathers. And the most exquisite black ink from charcoal and a divine deep yellow from Turmeric and Ox Eye Daisies. Definitely far more satisfying. Plus it makes my journals all the more unique. Necessity is the mother of invention, after all. Although, I need to get me one of those envelope makers 😂
