What i imagine as i hear these Track two: low light stealth mission in an isometric forest adventure game. Track 3: cowboy farm animals sauntering down a dirt road. Track 5: has to be a diddy kong game. Has to be. Track 8 music that would play on the beach of a sailing game Track 9: low gravity moon exploration. Track 11: like track 8, but you are on the high seas, well the flat 8 bit seas. No matter what i always see "travel". you really nailed that image.

So. I tapped on this thinking it was another of your remixes, found out it was all original. Wasn't sure if that was gonna be enough to carry me through since everything I watch is derivative in some way. Then I wandered off to change a random unrelated setting in the app, which prompted me to restart. When going into my history to continue where I left off, I accidentally tapped one of my usuals I'd normally just let play on loop all day. Surely that spelled game over for the little set of OSTs, right? That's the crazy thing, is no. In fact, I soon missed the sound of these songs and came right back here. Fancy that - this serial rut runner who normally rejects anything too new, prefers your completely original soundtrack over highly familiar mockbuster commentary from a more nostalgic channel. Edit: Listened to it several times by now. Track 2 is my favorite :3

Not just Track 2, but also Tracks 6, 8, 10 and especially 9 (my favorite) are also bangers. Couldn't listen to all that stuff yesterday. Nice work, kuribo! Track 1 is the only one I don't really like, a bit too chaotic progression for my taste. All others not mentioned I find good/decent/alright.

I can see the first track is inspired by the credits of NSMB, at least I hear some motifs. Track 3 is great! If it's ok to critique/through in suggestions maybe: personally, just personally I think it could use a bit more going on, but that really depends on when this is supposed to play, in particular I would maybe turn up the off beat notes a bit, but again, this is just my opinion, not everyone thinks so obviously and maybe most people don't, I'm just throwing it out there so you can go through the idea in your head if you hadn't had it and see how it sounds to you, this applies to any other critique too of course. The 4th track once again reminds me of the credit theme from NSMB in some parts? At this point I'm not even sure if I'm imagining it. I'm just going of memory. I don't know what to call the instrument that leads into track 5, but I think that it's in a bit too much of a focus when it plays the same notes over and over again as accompaniment. The unique sound of it also makes it a bit more taxing to listen to for longer, at least in my opinion, again, just trying to help. I bet it would sound a bit better if it was maybe a bit quieter? I hope at least. And the rest of the tracks are just pretty fantastic! I was writting this comment while listening to the music and while I was trying to listen to it intently, trying to find specific things to comment on, the music just sucked me in at multiple times and made me just listen without thinking, so that's great! Now some general ideas in case you might care I suppose. I noticed that pretty much all the tracks are almost the same tempo so mixing that up a bit could lead to some interesting variety, so could making themes in minor (unless I'm dumb and forgot you did that). I can really imagine this playing in the backgroung of a game! Oh and two more things, depending on how long these play at a time you might want to consider making them a bit longer (if it's not forced or stuff) so people have more variety. And second, depending on the game you could always try making tracks that are a bit more "in your face" like, less something in the background and more something like idk a lot of bossthemes are for example, I'm sure you know what I mean. Again, that all depends on the game, if it's a puzzle game (which is the vibe I'm getting) then it would proably be misplaced. I'm sure you have lots of great idea for future themes! And even if you don't, that's also ok, getting inspired is not always easy but I'm sure you'll be alright! In case you read this I'd be interested to hear your opinion on these things :)

Most of them were kinda made in a rush tbh. Also, the creator of the game sent some sample tracks for me to replicate the style of, so that’s a big reason why the tempo and instruments are what they are. He also wanted the songs to sound as if they were partially making fun of the player for failing (the songs play when the player loses a certain amount of progress)
