What kind of liquid latex do you use? Mine is so runny I can’t get it to hold shapes? Great video!

I usually use liquid latex sold for doing nails. I find that to be the best dupe for something like a humbrol.

Hi I’m having problems with my masking, when I mask for another colour to put on top when I take the masking off it’s pulling my paint especially in the chrome areas what would be the best way to stop this and can I continue with my helmet or do I have to start it all again

When you say masking, are you asking about tape masking or liquid latex? If you're talking about tape, make sure you're using a low tack masking tape and always protect your chromes at all costs. Putting tape over them will alway cause issues. If you're talking about liquid latex, you do need to splurge a but and get a good one. Paint pulling at this point is almost always due to too heavy of a coat over top the latex. It's annoying, but I recommend light coats, peeling any masking, and then re-mask and go again rather than continuing to build layers of paint over masking. Let me know exactly what you're experiencing, and I can maybe suggest a more tailored possible solution.

@@MakerMaddoxthanks for your reply it’s a shame I can’t send you a image of what I’m working with but the masking tape issue has caused some problems by peeling off in straight lines in areas and im thinking do I hand paint those areas please them or do I have to sand everything back down and start again ?
