Because there are many variables eg depth of water, water yield that will then determine pump size and price etc. A 100m deep borehole yielding 3m3 will cost very different from a 300m meter borehole yielding 5m3.

Thanks for the info,can you make another video outlining the benefits and disadvantages of using borehole waters and as compared to catching rain water ? I have seen in some areas children with brown teeth attributed to borehole waters and cant guess how deep the problem is going to turn out years to come. In California,they blamed the wildfires to borehole overuse over long period depleting the watertable causing overheating that cause fires to erupt anywhere. Is a study carried out before we repeat same things with worse consequences? Just my opinion.

I've drilled 3 boreholes. Half of these drilling companies are crooks. Shop around before you start. A hydrological survey can be done by someone else other than the driller. Get permits before you drill. Also don't go cheap on the pump and the controller. Buy from a reputable company.
