Quite possible that bearings were still good, but as soon as he changed the inner bearing that race should definitely be replaced.

So let me get this straight. In order to replace your brake shoes you have to take the F***ing axles out? And every one wants a Chevy? F***ing why? This is my first Chevy and so far they are 5x worse then my piece of S*** ford. That is something I didn’t think was possible, a truck is actually worse than my ford. That is prize winning level of garbage.

@@coltonk2535 No its not. at least not on my truck. I would not have been shocked by the set up on the chevy if I had already done it 5 times on my ford the same way

@@philodox7599 it’s the same procedure on a 99-07 super duty axle. I do them all the time. Pre 99’ you don’t have to remove the hub and post 08’ you don’t have to, although sometimes it is easier.
