My oldest son is a professional drummer. Any and every stick was for drumming on every and any surface since he was a toddler. The dash in our van took a beating. 😂🎉😅. I miss those days. Great job on the cabin! ❤

The cabin is looking fabulous. The drone scenery was very pretty showing the fall colors of the trees. Reminds me of when I was a teen driving through the up in the fall. Loved it. Spent a lot of time @ Silver Lake and the dunes near Heart Mi. ❤

Having one sawed edge makes for much nicer lay of materials on siding. I would see if you could figure a way to blow all those leaves into bags for mulch on the gardens. It would only take a couple hundred bags to make a few inches of dirt but the trade is all the missing minerals and vitamins plants look for are in those leaves. I don't know how you load your stove for nights but when I still had my woodstove, I used to use bark off of the trees. If you do, be very careful not to over do it as it will melt the metal in the stove. Bark holds a fire for a long long time but howdy doody, it is quite hot heat. I used bark for my forge to melt metals when doing pours of copper and aluminum. I do not know how far behind snow is for you from our alaska weather but hope this winter is going to be a tad warmer than last year. Just a thought for say next year is to figure out how much wood is used and the lengths ect... get it all figured to the last nail and screws estimated of course and then build a lumber package to sell on facebook. You could mark each sides of walls with numbers or letters, and same with the studs and such.... have it written down how many sheets of OSB they need to purchase and it would sell like hotcakes. Just make sure its a fair price, and no absolute promises of its going to be perfect or as good as yours. Maybe a video or seven of how you did walls or ceilings etc. There is something for you little brains to figure on. It was ideas like this that got me into a helicopter logging business. I do hope you stay small and first person... helpful but not a crutch is my advice

Jen-- When the music started I just knew SOMEONE was going to be driving SOMEWHERE. LOVE the drive--please do one of going across country in different vehicles in different regions and vistas. Jay--standing on the ground doing the 1st course made me dizzy. Good safety with the rest and back. Can you use clear coat to keep the front the exact color to match the door. I don't know if it is the fall colors that make the color so perfect? Happy Fall Y'all!
