Mine won't cut the exact shape, it's cutting squares around my design, which is a stemless wine glass care card. I followed EXACTLY what you said in this video and it's still not cutting the exact shape of my stickers but cutting squares around it instead. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the tutorial. I used vinyl cutters for years for doing automotive work. Sold all that. Had the original Cameo for fun and it fell. Now have the Cameo 3 and despise it with the auto blade. Threw that blade out and only use the ratchet but by default this thing goes to auto. If I ever find an original Cameo this one will go to the dumpster. But now will play with print and cut a few times and your tutorial was great. I always have to cut twice with this one.

May I ask you a question? I love your tutorial. It was very helpful. When you clicked on the send botton, your images automatically had red lines around them. When I tried, it didnt do that. So I clicked on Cut the Edge botton. the red line showed around my image but insted of showing right around the image, the square red line showed - just like the bounding boxes you mentioned at 7:55 . Do you know how to fix it?? My image's background is even transparent. Thank you.

The Cameo does not need to be connected to the printer, the Silhouette studio program will send the images to your printer.

Either! If you want to prevent most of the curling from a heavier grip mat, you can turn it over and peel the mat off the sticker paper instead.

This was very helpful, thanks!! I'm a brand new Portrait 3 user! When I put the sticker paper with the mat in the machine, the mat slid all around and it didn't cut properly around the design. I'm not sure why the mat is slipping and sliding. Thanks for your help!

But when I make sure the mat is under both rollers, it is not lined up with the little arrow. 🤔 And I think my blade might not be in the right place, because once I cut through my first sticker page, all the cuts were about an inch or so to the right of the design. I will check out the trouble shooting section on their site tomorrow. I appreciate your help!

What do I do if my cameo cutting pad is too sticky? I tried pulling the sticker paper off and it warped my stickers.

Use a clean t shirt and blot it on there a few times to try to de-stick the mat a bit. Also when removing stickers or paper, flip the mat over and peel the mat away from the paper opposed to peeling the paper off the mat.

I am new to anything Silhouette, I've only had my Silhouette Cameo 4 Pro for a few days, but I was wondering if you could tell me, how well does it cut on intricate cut designs? I take multiple tribal designs and mix them with floral, butterflies, birds, etc... and that "other machine ( starts with a 'C' and ends with a 't' )" didn't do so well, it tore my designs all to pieces when I tried to make water slides.

Melissa, I'm having a problem cutting an image that won't cut just the outside. Its cutting inside the image no matter what I do. I did exactly what you did, select cut edge and it still cuts all the pieces inside the image as well. I bought the image in the silhouette store too. Why is this happening? HELP PLEASE!
