these are the sort of tutorials the player base needs, it shows the thinking needed for good gameplay and winning strategy. Especially in destroyers. In a battleship, other than positioning, it's mostly about shooting things but a destroyer has to be much more tactically minded. Great job. If people want to win more games, they have to start thinking about how to win by knowing what to do.

This reminded me of a match recently, Tier VI Asashio had 3 Captured, 3 Destroyed, 4 Torpedo Hits, 2 caused flooding, Total Damage 40,733. Earned 590,151 in Credits for net of 509,276 Credits. ...and Zero Gun Hits. No shots fired. One Medal - Devasting Strike.. Victory! Standard - Domination - New Dawn. Game was from February 4, 2022 before the update. Hat-tip: Tbull videos

Great vid bro just what I want newer players to see. That last interaction with the Shchors also demonstrated something I think could be a vid. Utilizing the drop spot mechanic when leaving your MB range is a great reason for not always building dds and cruisers for max range. Short MB range is a concealment of sorts.

For the beginning another first step should be are there divisions on the opposite team? Look to see what the division is composed of to see who spawns where. For example if there's a division with a Kidd and Bismarck keep an eye on were the Bismarck spawned because more than likely the Kidd is going to be spawned with him.

I use Gleaves in all of my American DD's! Yes, that little bit of extra distance on your torps does make a difference.

Hi tbull: I hope this reaches you. I am a new player -five, six days- I find your videos on WOW to be fun and INFORMATIVE (just wish I had found your commanders video sooner however no use crying over spilled milk. Some ? I hope you can address. 1) how do you know shchors has radar, 2) whats a beta (spelling) flag, 3) what do all those numbers mean (holding captured, losing allies, destroying allies) 4) at the start of the game when they show rankings on tactical map it shows -using this map as example(VI SIMS,BoogaardsFist 0) at end of game that 0 can stay or become 1,2 or 3. 5) why can square on tactical map blink. On quick commands, how do you know when someone is talking to you. I use preset 3 on PS4 btw. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Carl

1: Most people choose Radar. There is no why to tell if the enemy has it equipped

5: You can open the big map and push on a square. Teammates does this to alert of enemy ships. Usually destroyers will be marked from friendly destroyers. They use the perk "Twist'N'Track" that gives them a direction to the nearest ship.

4: It's not a ranking. Zero is for how many kills players have during the match. Ships are just listed with destroyers first, then cruisers and lastly battleships.

2: Flags are purely cosmetic. Some can be acquired from in-game purchases, others from missions, and a lot can be obtained via free codes from WOWS Legends code redeemer, found on their website.

152mm SAP from Duca is also very good against angled BB's Just got 102k damage with no torp hit. 177 shell hits, 5 citidals from reg. AP. High Caliber and Confreddy medals

Honestly I just go gunboat build on everything that's not an IJN torpedo boat (and even then I use them kind of like gunboats, a Fubuki can fight a Mahan surprisingly well if handled right) because I'm sick of relying on my teammates to support me getting on a cap. Also Tbull question for you, why did you not use the first speed boost to get on A quicker when the game started?

I Have been waiting for something like this, thanks! Hehe first comment In do have to say that it seems like playing really well is only possible on a good map, I mean this is a GREAT map! Lots of islands to use. Sometimes I can't do anything in for example a cruiser because there is no cover, so I tend to die earlier even if I'm scoring decent damage. And sometimes there are islands there just very low down and pretty small most of them

... And I wish I had a dollar for all the times I've pointblank killed a DD with a BB - AND lived to talk about it. Under those circumstances, switching to HE is almost unnecessary. :)
