Thank you for this video. You actually answered a question I had With this video about shipping products. I actually moved away from Print on Demand and Starting to Partner with my Friend who has DTF Printer. Ideally I feel that's a lot better and we have more control of our inventory and everything. Thank you for the full process video, love seeing this! I have the same press and I end up with indents from the edge of the press on my shirts and they don't wash out like a wrinkle in the wash. Do you have any advice on how to avoid that as it seems you don't have anything different when pressing?

Very neat to see your process! Love the stickers and the bag. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your process with us! I’ve only ever used Transfer Express’s Ultra Color Max but I know they say not to use Teflon because it blocks some of the heat. Does the platen cover still let all the heat through? Or are the requirements/instructions for SupaColor different? Also, do you print your own stickers? Or have a recommendation where to have them printed?

i use the teflon sheet to buffer out the static. film transfers generate alot of static (depending on the humidity in your work space) if i dont use the teflon sheet, the back of the transfer will cling on to the heat platen due to the static charge. so i use it just to eliminate that. i bump the heat up by 1 degree just to make sure i get the correct heat on the transfer tho. cuz i think it does block a little heat

all transfers are different. you have to go based off of what the transfer company application instructions are.

Thank you for your videos! I just finished watching the back to basics series. You talked about you stock 20" rolls of vinyl and your designs are typically no more that 12" wide... do you just scrap the waste or do you do something different I am missing so you don't have that much waste? appreciate you!

dont scrap anything. cut it down and save it for another project. i cut what i need and save what i dont use. these cutters can small 2"x2" pieces of vinyl if i need it too. i dont waste anything if i dont need too.

you want print and sell dtf transfers or you want sell shirts with dtf transfers? if you want to sell transfers and own your own printer. i cant help you. but if you wanna use transfers to press on shirts and sell the shirts. look at my playlist "back to basics" its all laid out for you

and i dont use 50/50 blend shirts. i only use 100% cotton. but as far as pressure goes. you gotta go based on the transfer companies instructions and recommendations. each transfer applies differently. no matter the garment its pressed on, but make sure you buy transfers made for 50/50 blend shirts

i dont print thse myself. i order my transfers from supacolor. they take care of all that for you. you get'em in and just press'em down. just like you see in the video

Nice! How do you manage inventory? I ask because Shopify holds inventory for a t-shirt, but it doesn't know you have X blanks and Y transfers. If you sell an XL shirt, then the quantity of ALL XL shirts in inventory must go down, not just the one tee you sold.

if i have 6 designs posted and have 6 dozen of each size. i mark each design and size at 12 a piece. as sizes and designs sell, i replenish the blanks needs, as designs and sizes dont sell i juggle the remaining sizes to the designs that are selling. example: design 1 size med is not selling but design 2 size med is selling alot. i adjust the quantities to fit my demand. i dont rely on shopify inventory. only to make things available to the customer. i check my inventory by hand daily.

i dont put hoodies into clear bags any more. i used to use the ziplock style bags but i dont do that any more. if you want to order clear bags for your hoodies. fold one up, measure it and then buy bags to fit those measurements. reason i stopped is i use different hoodies that are different sizes and i didnt wanna buy different bags for the different hoodies i was using. so i just stopped hahaha

not a standard size but i do make sure my design will fit on all size offerings. meaning if i make a design, i wanna make sure that one size will fit size small-3x. but all my designs are different in size. all depends on what looks visually good to me

yes. i order all my gang sheet transfers by the 100's. sometimes 150. most transfer companies have price breaks after 100

i weigh all my stuff before i upload to my site. so each shirt and hat and box and poly mailer has the weight built into the shopify. example: 2X shirt with front and back print in a clear poly bag with 2 stickers is 9.3 ounces. so i add that to my shopify so whenever somebody buys a 2X with front and back print it auto calculates the shipping weight for me

So you leave the alstyle tags in there? Are customers ok with that normally?

in all my years of printing shirts. no customer is spending money on the size label. they are all buying the shirt based on the design printed on the outside of the shirt. for example: one of my brands i use proclub blanks. i leave the tag in because pro club is a big seller for that audience. those customer love pro club. when they know thats who i print on, they buy because they are familiar with that style of t shirt. they know their size, they know how it washes, they wear these shirts blank. so leaving the tag in, helps me sell more shirts. get me?

you can add whatever you want into your packages when shipping your products out. theres no rules. only thing that needs to be included is the product and shipping label. if you want to put the packing slip, go for it. if you dont want too, you dont have too.
