I want to make sure that boat can handle the impact of Floating Logs down in Colombia River in OR. Rocky shoreline specially when the tie changes. Well…. I`m struggling to see who would by this… limited space aft, almost no space up front, very limited space in the cabin, very small bathing platform, no room for sunbathing og dining outside in comfort. You could probably go fishing, but it is not build any better for that than my 24 foot sailboat. It`s like converting a sedan car into a camper… it can be used to camp, but it is not very practical nor is it comfortable when camping, and the practicallity of the normal sedan is somewhat ruined for everyday use ( in this case fishing, svimming, sunbathing). It`s not to sound negative, but the designers should have gone in 1 or even 2 directions, instead of doing 5 directions, and not succeding in any of them.

Imagine this boat with both sides of the aft deck folding Down, making a Big swim platform, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Instead of the bunks in the cabin, make 4 (wider) seats that can both face forward and backwards, 2 in each side, with 1 stationary table in each side between them, that can be lowered to convert the table and seats into,guess what…. bunk beds. 2 wide bunk beds in each side is a far better option than fiddling around to make the Big bed, or to make the very small table ready. There is absolutely no use for all the space in the middel of the cabin of the boat, as it is now.

It’s also perfectly suited for going to and from islands in regions such as the Scandinavian and Baltic archipelagos, the Great Lakes of USA and Canada, and rivers, channels, and lakes of Finland and Sweden. It’s not really intended for sun bathing, but to be used even in winter time - and the small "swim-platform" is perfectly suited for diving, and can still be used to bathe from. It’s also designed for rivers and streams where you have to pass under bridges, (which is getting harder in some places due to increased water levels - one of the effects of global climate change), and to be easily towed by a truck - that’s what the space is there for, (he even shows it in the video when he folds the radar mast) The things you suggest, while all being nice and that, would add weight, increase price, and isn’t necessary for it to fill the role it’s intended for. So instead of being good at 5-6 or maybe 8 things, they focus on making it great for a few things! They’re avoiding going in all directions! If you want more space for sunbathing - go for the Axopar 29 XC - they’re lovely! (And if you have the money, you can always go for the slightly larger 31' BRABUS version, Shadow 500 Cabin/XC)
