Nestled in San Francisco's Pacific Heights District, just steps away from the city's bustling restaurants and shops, lies a beautifully transformed 1920s family home. Studio Plow reimagined this classic San Francisco residence for a repeat client, blending rich textures, deep earthy hues, and timeless custom art and furniture to bring the home into the modern age.
Previously renovated during the dot-com boom, the three-level, 4,142 sq ft Bay Area house had become sterile and outdated. The client sought to create a warm, inviting space that would serve as a cozy retreat from the urban hustle.
Plow utilized tactile materials and rich, earthy colors to design a welcoming and expressive environment tailored to the young family's lifestyle. This project stands out as Plow's most art-intensive to date, drawing inspiration from the client's passion for fashion, art, and her Mexican heritage. The result is a beautifully curated space that merges art and interior design, reflecting the client's personal interests and cultural background.
