hi, Casper. Is it possible to import sty. files into cakewalk so I can make songs with it? I just want to open a sty. file in cakewalk and just edit it or add to it.

Hi Casper Watched your video and it looks very good as usual Have a couple of questions. It looks like i could use Cubase 11 as you use Xg works. Still a sequencer. I just have to export from producer to Cubase and choose a user style and record. Is that right? First time i used producer i did find latency a problem, but i had half beat instead of Beat in selection box. Got to bar 40 and things started to lag a little. But as i knew where the chords were it did the job. I would also like to say to everyone that i think this is a good way produce a song for recording. With the Genos and Tyros etc when you play a song into the sequencer on your keyboard it leaves nasty note flack that is rather annoying. You have to delete them to get a clear recording. (In Cubase it is easy to delete them in one swipe, but you have to still make the gaps up and quantize the Style) This is caused by hitting a chord a millionth of a second out so to speak. So programming in Producer i hope it will possibly stop all of that as you can place a chord right on spot in needs to be. To me step chording for a recorded song is better, so then you can concentrate on your playing more without possibly missing a drum fill near the end which can be like Snakes and ladders when record in one takes

Hi John, you're right, you can do the same job at Cubase. The delay that occurs in Producer is obviously due to the large amount of MIDI data, I think the author should work on that. You may need to filter out unnecessary messages. When the track created by Producer is switched to MIDI, I think this problem disappears. I'm not sure, I should study it a little more.

zdravo, imam pitanje, konvertirao sam mnoge svoje stilove iz korg u yamahu sa sustavom radi xt universal i imam problem da se akordi i bas ne reproduciraju ispravno. imate li savjet za mene kako da ga sredim tako da ga svira normalno u svim notama

XT universal nikada nije odrađivao posao u potpunosti, pogotovo ne s Yamahinim ritmovima. Popravak konvertiranih ritmova je složen postupak i zahtjeva dobro poznavanje "pozadine" tj. onoga što pokreće Yamaha Style. Prvo bi trebao znati što podrazumijevaš pod pojmom "da se akordi i bas ne reproduciraju ispravno". Nakon toga bi možda mogao dati nekakav savjet.

Yes, it's similar. But I said before, this recording cannot be made if there is no keyboard from which sounds are activated. To make sure of that, download MIDI, you have a link in the description. Run it and you will see that it does not sound right. If we had a Genos connection to the computer, then the sound would be good. I hope you now understand what I’m talking about all the time.

@@edgarribeiro678 I use a translator from Portuguese to English and again I don’t understand what you mean by Rhythm (ritimo) and Voice (áudio de vozes). I'll try to guess. Rhythm is when Style plays from the keyboard (ACMP button), and Voice is your performance and playing with your right hand (Right 1, 2, 3)? Did you mean that? The Producer program only stores information about the Style (ACMP) type, stores harmony, Variations A, B, C, D, INTRO ... That's why there is only one channel (1) and it can't play without a connected keyboard. 07:47 After that, this information is recorded in 8 channels (08:53) and we get a standard MIDI file. Only after that you can record the playing of the right hand (Right 1, 2) in the new channels. If you have PSR A 5000 then use V2.8.1. because it has additional features only for the A5000. If you are using another keyboard then go back to 2.7.0. 2.8.0 definitely don't use it because it has bugs. V 2.8.1 is fine but it works a bit slower and everything you did in it, you will no longer be able to process in 2.7.0.

We may be angry at YEM but that is the future, working on computer software with a large screen versus poking at a small keyboard monitor with poor resolution.

Normalan covek sad ide na spavanje a ja u uve sate proganjam Caspera 😂. Hteo sam sam da uradim j ceo dan sam klackao I ne ide. Nije za ovaj video ali ovo vec gledam pa aj ovde da pitam. Snimim u registraciju midi song I uz njega style I sve ostalo ali sta me muci, kad ide style kod nekog midi songa gde ja ne bi da drndam akorde nego da sam vozi onda ne smem da diram levu stranu jer koji god da uhvatim akord ili ton odma se menja intonacija. E sad ja sam probao da snimim voice na primer na Right1 sa dodatnim voice na part left a Onda Taj skroz smanjim i tad može ali ne mogu tako da snimim. Probao sam da splitujem ali onda se čuje voice i ako ne menja intonaciju. Ne znam da li sam dobro objasnio. Da li postoji način da se ta leva strana ne cuje u opšte a da sve jedno ne menja intonaciju kad ide styl?

Pokušavam te pratiti ali nisam siguran da te razumijem. Ajmo ovako, napravi Split za Style i za LEFT na prvom lijevom najnižem tonu. Njega naravno ne diraš. MIDI ide, tvoj pritisak ne mijenja harmu jer ne dira Style.

@@CasperVideo odem ja na split i uradim sve, pa i na ono lower i uper ako treba i onda smanjim skroz levu stranu (voice na left) ili oteram skroz levo i samo prva dirka pokreće ritam ali sve samo dok ne snimim, čim takvu registraciju snimim (midi song sa style I ostalo). Kad je presnimim preko stare opet kad pokrenem sve je isto ko i pre. Opet se menjaju akordi i opet je aktivna leva strana

@@CasperVideo na jednu na primer br 10 odaberem voice, keyboard harmony, style, midi song, tekst i assignable, a na ostale samo voice. Ali se onaj left onako podešen ne memorise

Split neće da ostane snimljen. Ili možda ima negde u opcijama da se sve jedno ne za jednu registraciju nego za sve ukupno snimi split i tako left skroz smanjen. Da nema ton u opšte. A onda i da je drugi voice tu a ne čuje se ipak je samo voice i ne bi uticao na harmoniju
