Step up to success - boosting job prospects with skills training in Sri Lanka

Enhancing decent-work and safe migration, ILO Sri Lanka supported hospitality sector #skills programme for aspirant and returnee #migrants is providing both theory, and hands-on training through industry placements.
Close to 800 individuals have already benefitted from the work-based learning programme in the hospitality sector, implemented by the ‘Supporting the Socio-economic Reintegration of Sri Lankan Migrant Workers Repatriated due to the COVID-19 Outbreak’ project, rolled out in partnership with the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA), and supported by the Government of Japan.
