Curry is the greatest “TRUE” scorer of all time, he’s the only player that doesn’t need FREE THROWS to get to 60 or more points, also Curry has now joined Kobe Bryant as the only players at age 35 or older to record 60+ points!

Greatest "true" scorer? You can say that about 5-10 other players in nba history, its interesting you mention free throws but by that same token there were other players like MJ and Kobe who didnt need 10 three pointers either to score 60, so you can tweak that exception many ways, Wilt scored a 100 without making three pointers so he could be considered the greatest true scorer as well, just so many ways you can cut it

Steph is still the only player I’ve ever seen who doesn’t take a single shot that feels like it will likely be a miss. He’s become so adept at scoring anywhere from any angle with any form of shot that you expect them all to go in. Sometimes he makes me think he’s the best basketball player I’ve ever seen. I honestly think he deserves to have a unique place in that argument. To be 5th all time in true shooting? It’s a bunch of bigs on that top 10 with him smack dab in the middle. It’s not JUST that he’s been over 40 percent from 3 almost every single game he’s ever played , but he’s also one of the greatest interior finishers ever by the numbers, and his splits from 5-9, 10-14, 15-19 etc will also blow your mind. If you look at his NBA page of shooting by zone and range, it just…it doesn’t make sense. It shouldn’t be possible. He makes it look so easy. He’s one of a kind. He’s made so many insane shots that they don’t even get the appreciation they deserve. Just this game, some of his layups/and 1s and little flicks. Insane. And the 3s. Yes everyone will talk about the 10 3s and the 60, but they don’t even mention antmore how quickly he can get his shot off. On one of them, I believe it was when the score was 118-117 or something, he got a shot off between Murray and someone else in about .20 seconds. I couldn’t even get to the “one” on the “one one-thousand” count. He is mind blowing. I can’t believe we get to witnes this. In a long time from now people will…man I hope they remmebr him jus as freaking as he is

@@BIGZphillybirdfan Untrue. Players today are more skilled. That's how it always goes. Same thing in Baseball. Babe Ruth was great in his era, but guys were throwing 60 mph fastballs down the middle with almost nothing else up their sleeves. Back in the 90s, almost no one could dribble comfortably, today, everyone can. Today, everyone has a deep bad. Even MJ's bag wasn't deep. Today, almost everyone (even bigs) have multiple crossovers, behind the back moves, almost all can shoot (there is a 7'4 rookie shooting threes with handles and plays great rim protecting defense), and can shoot from 30 feet, everyone can do reverse lays, contested lays, the dunkers overall are more athletic (MJ, Wilkins, Dr J being some of the only athletic exceptions), and on top of that, they've had more generations to look back on and learn and study from. Today's players are far and away better, that's how everything that ever exists works. If there's room to progress, overall, there WILL be progress.

Curry is insanely underrated, his scoring and shooting isn't even his best quality, the man is just such a good playmaker and off ball mover it's insane. Just look at how they play when he's on the floor vs when he's on the bench, it's 2 different teams. Give him better teammates and he'll dominate again

Trade Draymond and Klay (who was 4 of 19). Those Klay misses were rebounded by Hawks and converted to made shots. Anyone on the bench right now is better than Klay.
