I wish I knew who this person is because I would rush to her, offer her the biggest hug, and assure her she's not alone. I endured debilitating depression for the majority of my adult life and was prescribed every medication imaginable. It was only after I turned 38, engaged in therapy, and distanced myself from my toxic family that I truly began to flourish and heal. Sis, you're going to be alright. I understand it may not always feel that way, but you will be. Depression is manageable, and though I still experience difficult days, I find strength in my faith in God and my incredible Black therapist, and I persevere. Keep going!

Very GOOD advice Tasha! I agree with everything said in this video and especially the note at the very end - I needed this for myself after being ghosted by my NOW exGF now that my money has run out after 2 years of paying her bills- It’s all GOOD because I will recover and I have learned from this experience - It’s true that you have to be happy and enjoy life and not wait until good things happen - Even though it hurts there are times when we can laugh and cry at the same time and find peace within ourselves that everything is going to be okay 👌🏽 ❤😊

hiiiii tashaaaaaa now ima go get wendys that burger looks sooo good, i have had clinical depression all my life been thru it all doctors, psychiatrist everything been on every antidepressant paxil was the best it helped everything depression anxiety ptsd ocd but it helps but the depression really never goes away 100% i have learned how to train my brain and my thoughts it takes awhile to be able to do that but it helps

The fact that she recognizes that she is depressed and is reaching out for help, is a great step. One day at a time. I agree with Tasha, look at all the positive things around you and be thankful. Your children do not want you to return to work….they love you and are protecting you. Find a hobby that you really enjoy. I have grandkids and that’s my Hobby! Ain’t nothing like the love of those grandkids to promote healing. Also, most importantly, Let Go, Let God, stay prayed up and ask God to show you his will for you, not yours, and to give you the strength to carry it out. Continue to reach out when you get that feeling of depression, know that’s it is depression, climb your way out and try not to dwell in it. Move on to your happy place. Post again, so we can know how you are doing and we can encourage you more. If you feel safe, maybe be a bit more specific….I’m sure Tasha has many subscribers, who may share similar experiences as yours, including myself. Trust and rely on God and your loving family❤

I take a supplement now called joy filled by the happy, healthy, hippie, it has worked wonders for me in terms of lifting the heaviness away. The reviews on Amazon tell all that needs to be said. We all have different tastes. I actually like that very, berry frosty, and i also like the chocolate. I heard that the creamsicle a lot of people said it tastes like a medication.😂 I used to work at Wendy's as a teenager, and i worked there for a year, and that was like 40 years ago. cuz I'm 61, and i did everything there, and everything back then was fresh because i made the chicken sandwich in egg and flour and cooked as order. Always ask to have ur food cook fresh because they just warm in the microwave and always get your fries cooked fresh, no salt because it comes out hot.

❤ The woman who wrote to you is likely in a transitional phase of life. She's looking for meaning in her life but depression holds her back. I would suggest she talk to her therapist about therapy not working. Maybe the therapist can suggest a change that could just start her personal growth. Otherwise she should try to join a new group or do something she hasn't done in the past.
