I was honored to sing behind home plate. I walked onto the field and teared up. I felt my mom and my uncle Frankie (pitcher, Colt .45's AAA team), both standing behind me.
When it was over I wanted to burst into tears. This gift is the best one I could imagine giving, in honor of my mom, who passed away 364 days before this game.

First inning? GRAND SLAM, immediately followed by a HOME RUN, immediately followed by me floating through the upper deck, arms wide, beer in hand, yelling I DID THIS! I DID THIS! 🤦🏼‍♀️😂
