She didn't push Jackie. I was always annoyed by this. Stephanie was a complicated character and she could be manipulative but in defense of her family usually, however she was a scapegoat in many instances and blamed for things she did not cause, whereas others got away with their wrongs with a few tears and an insincere sorry.

Stephanie tried to be the better person by walking away but it was JACKIE who was the aggressor, JACKIE was the one who tried to attack Stephanie, Stephanie defended herself and unfortunately Jackie lost her balance and went flying over the railing. Donna DID witness the incident but she LIED to Nick about it.....
