These scenes were very telling. Stephanie and Eric had shared, not iust kids, not just a business and not just houses - they had shared a life. Donna might have been younger and perhaps sexier, in a very obvious way, but she and Eric did not have that connection, or those kind of experiences and they did not develop anything that came close. In the end Eric was drawn back to Stephanie - the way he always had been.

I like seeing Stephanie happy and ready for a life at the beach. I just want to know why Eric wanted to stay and do things for her. He wanted it all. Her and the familiar of their family and the little sex toy. She talks about doors slamming at that mansion. I don't think a door ever slammed there. But again, I do like seeing Stephanie light and in a good mood. She hasn't been that way for years. And this happy, won't last because she will be right back in that house dealing with Brooke and all her drama. She can't stay out of her children's lives. She must control them.
