I love how God(my Dad) makes provision to us when we obey! It’s a reminder that through your obedience you’ll reap a great reward. The word tells us that obedience is greater than sacrifice and although it may appear that what he’s requiring will take a lot from us, the result is that there’s ALOT that he wants to give to us. The part where she talks about not pushing your convictions onto other people was something I really needed to hear! I wasnt do it all the time but when I did I could see how much I hurt that person 😣, even if I said it in a nice manner. Subconsciously, I think I knew I was wrong bc I would immediately apologize but consciously my brain is like "help this person, they are struggling and making mistakes"....WHAT GOD TELLS YOU TO NOT DO OR DO IS BETWEEN YOU AND HIM!! HIS PATH AND TIMING WILL BE DIFFERENT FOR THE REST OF HIS CHILDREN!...so chill out bc that's not in your job description 😁

I thank God for this message! I had saved it to watch maybe a day or two before the NY and never watched it. But I had spoke with God about needing something new and some change in my life and started this morning. I turned this video on and it truly blessed me and met me exactly where I am at. God is trying to do things in my life and I’m learning how to let go of things I don’t even realize I’m holding onto that’s hindering my walk with God and keeping me from going deeper or higher in him. Also the obedience and doing as God tells me to. God always knows what we need and when and Lord I thank you for this word this morning! Has/ Is anyone else experiencing this. When youre still new in your walk with God, ( not just belief and going to church but person relationship there's a huge difference for me) the quieter moments can be challenging. I don't know if its normal but sometimes I pray or talk to God and Im so moved by prayers or songs or sermons or scriptures etc that Im in tears just overwhelmed with emotion but other times tho I still believe, still love, still pledge my life, I still lay down my life, my will and submit fully but I can feel a bit vacant or lacking, maybe even slightly empty or silent moments- LACKLUSTER might be a better word. It can feel like oh no Im becoming distant from God and cause Im so desperate to not go backwards in our journey I use to panic and try to spend more time on KZbin watching things like these or sermons reading his word etc. But Im wondering if thats not just part of the process, like in any relationship you have the amazing exciting moments - our 'mountains' but we can also have valleys or flat land maybe theryre not actually 'lows' theyre are maybe or 'normal' days. You know like a normal day at work or in a relationship not outstanding but nor did anything bad. God was still his awesome self, still blessed us, still sent his angels to guide and protect, the Holy spirit still lives within us. Im thinking these might be the most challenging moment cause you dont want to take God for granted. Im thhinking like with everything when you've been doing your walk a long time; its easier to a certain extent cause you have memory to aid you, the Holy spirit reminds you of historical things to help you. When your journey is newer you have fewer things in your bank and so you have to pu from other sources:- what God says. Who he is, who he says we are, use other people testimony as encouragement and be honest with him. If you're having a "dry" moment tell him. You cant find the words to pray then.... Holy spirit help me, Lord you know my heart, thank you for everything, even the things Im struggling to recall right now. Im truly sorry for grieving you. You know the desire I have to serve you. Wash away my inequity, cleanse me of my sin, create in me the person you made me to be. I submit - Over to you. Not sure if that makes sense to anyone. Better together made me realise alit of things I experience on my walk is very common.

I love this so much. It’s hard to hear, but this is so true. Lean not on your own understanding and God starts doing things you never would have imagined. It’s raw, it’s real and it’s life changing. And more than anything: it’s worth it!! It’s worth it entirely - I literally am walking this out now since July and it’s not like anything I’ve known except in my early days of first being saved and getting to know Him. Now it’s like that but on steroids!! It’s scary, but we can do hard things and are called to bravery: Taste and see that the Lord is good, bc He truly, truly IS❤️
