In the aftermath of the beautiful chaos that ensued when I brought out Please Don't Go, I never actually recorded a proper live version of it. So here it is and I'm so proud of it.

I lost my daughter Natalia on December 28, 2022 during labor. My first moments with her were when I held her in my arms and felt her body grow cold. She was perfect in every way. We buried her in a pretty pink casket and she still wears the first outfit she ever wore. This song voices what my life has been last 18 months. I thank God for my blessed hope in Jesus of eternal life and being reunited with my daughter one day.

I lost my husband 7 months ago, from his cancer diagnosis on his 64th Birthday it was less then 10 weeks 😢. This song is exactly how I felt the day he passed in my arms, and how I felt ever since, I kept my side of the bed and I have a huge teddy bear on his side of the bed, that I snuggle into every night to fall asleep. Beautiful song and a very beautiful voice. I have never told this to anyone before. I would lay my head on my husband’s chest and listen to his heartbeat. I did it several times a day because I knew it could be the last time I would ever hear it!! We were married for almost 30 years. I miss him more than anyone could ever imagine! I lost my mother in May of 2002, I never found a song that could mean what I couldn't say. I lost my grandma in April of 2006, in hospice care. She beat lung cancer once and it came back in her pancreas and took her in months. I lost my cat of 19 years this May, your voice is so beautiful and pure. This song brings me to tears and memories of my lost love ones. I wish I had this song years ago when my mom died to sing to her.
