My grandmother could really sing. Her father did not think it was a real career but she was good.On her 93rd birthday we were having dinner out and she was talking about singing a concert, and our waitress tomd her she should just sing it. So she sang Memories. And from her it was totally different. Wistful, sad, haunting. I am biased, but the entire restaurant did give her a standing ovation. Consider she started singing over kitchen sounds, front of house sounds, etc. No mic, acapella. Before she was singing the chorus the place went silent. That's when I knew I was right and she was talented. Her version is how it should be done, really. One of my favourite Memories...

have one word for Gracie’s voice. Ethereal. Simply amazing. Now I want that version of the song. I very much loved her voice on this song. well done, very well done. I usually dont like when performers modify the vocal melody much, but her slight melodic changes were so tastefull. Her voice was so beautifully delicate and vulnerable there are no words to explain how moved I was. Thank you so much for sharing. Great job of layering and your use of dynamics to add power to her voice was brilliant. I feel that maybe your secret talent is bringing out the strengths of others whom you collaborate with.
