I saw Zeppelin in the early 70s twice. This is my generation of music. When Zepplin came out, there was no one that sounded anything like them. They were magical. I am proud of my generations music. We were the leaders of such terrific sounds composure, and lyrics were important to us It’s so good to know that young people are going back to listen to Led Zeppelin at a time where the singers actually really sang, and the band actually played their instruments there was no trickery. They sounded just like they did on the albums I actually was very lucky to meet Robert Plant at both concerts. He was a gentleman very sexy. Very nice. ✌️🎶🎤🎸🌸🌺

Thanks! I am one of those folks who grew up with Zeppelin...i am in my sixties now, and i love watching young folks enjoy this incredible band...NO OTHER BAND has each member recognized as top 5 ALL TIME in rock history - JPJ bass/keys; Bonham greatest drummer of all time; Page top 3 guitarists and Plant #1 front man - I would request you consider reacting to "Kashmir" live from the 1979 Knebworth show (Bonham/Plant are incredible in this performance) and "In My Time of Dying" live from the 1975 Earls Court show...the latter performance has Page playing slide guitar and he just shreds and Plant's vocals will blow you away...i look forward to seeing if you agree with me... Led Zep loved one band - Steely Dan - check them out...have to do studio versions - but start with "Reeling in the Years" from their first album "Can't Buy a Thrill" and "My Old School" from "Countdown to Ecstacy" - guarantee you will enjoy both of them...thanks for getting on the Zep Train..andy

How generous a gift and how great your recommendations! "In my time of dying" is astonishing -- Plant's charisma is off the charts in the first four "slow" minutes. "Kashmir" has some of Bonzo's most insane live drumming! I knew/figured they dug Steely Dan, and why wouldn't they? But I guess they really loved them, cool!

Back in 1975, a friend and baseball teammate of mine informed the team he could not play in the second game of our doubleheader because he had scored tickets to the Zeppelin concert that night at the LA Forum. Tickets to Zeppelin were notoriously difficult to get and they often would add shows last minute due to demand. None of us resented him for missing the game, but we were all very envious.

The guitar for Hendrix, Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray seemed to be supernatural extensions of their bodies, they were so in sync and fluid when playing live. But...NOBODY moved across the stage as cool as Jimmy Page. His signature poses are as iconic to rock as the Jerry West silhouette is to the NBA. The entire band were amazing, true gods of rock. I was too young to see Hendrix, but lucky enough to have seen Beck, Vaughn and Led Zeppelin in concerrt.

This band's so good I I ended up watching THEM most of the time even though I came to see YOU react TO them, lol! I love that you love them AND want our recommendations! "The Ocean" is probably peak tight-pants Robert, lol, but ur right, their stage presence is ALWAYS spectacular! For a lovely softer Zeppelin, try their acoustic "Going to California" (Earl's Court, 1975). For harder, dramatic, and full of those Jimmy solos you correctly love: "Dazed & Confused" (Denmark 1969 -- EARLY Zep!) (I DID cu react, & it was great!) Rock on!

I was fortunate enough to get to see them perform about five songs off of every Led Zeppelin album live in concert. It was not the 73 Concert in Madison Square Garden. It was a good bit after that concert. For example, I saw them perform Kashmir live. I was also fortunate enough to be up close and just left of center. Robert Plant was on the left, and Jimmy Page was on the right.

I have been a fan since I was a teen. That was in the mid 70s. Back then, especially in my small city, with Zeppelin, along with other bands, you really did not know what they looked like except for the picture on the album. And You really did not know who did what. I live alittle over an hour out of Chicago and to get a ticket to see them - well, good luck with that. So, I had all the albums and loved them. Listened to at least one album everyday. I had other artists but, Zeppelin's music really spoke to me Their music was just so above anyone else.

I regret that I never saw these guys live. I live about an hours train ride south of Madison Square Garden and saw Queen there twice in the early eighties. When this concert was filmed, for use in their movie " The Song Remains the Same," I was 14 years old. Back then, you didn't send your kid on their way alone or with other kids. They played the Garden a couple of other times before John passed away, but you had to physically stand in line to get them. No online ordering, then.

A reminder that YES' lyrics, written by Jon Anderson, were renowned for the spiritual *optimism* they expressed...just one of the reasons why they attracted such ardent fans. Both YES & Led Zepplin were London bands that formed in the same year, 1968. Led Zeppelin's debut album was an all-time big hitter, they hit their stride right out of the gate. It took YES until their 3rd album, The Yes Album, to really explode onto the Progressive Rock scene. While Led Zepplin had mastered textured simplicity, YES had mastered breathtaking complexity, with a funky bass line. There's a lot of great music ahead of you...

The best Rock Band for many, at some point soon, please do their incredible epic, No Quarter. Do the live video of it from the Song Remains the Same concert movie that those shows above were filmed for. Its great to see Great Classic Rock translates to younger generations, great music, especially with real musicians, is very compelling in an era where you see a single singer with dancers and no musicians to be seen, how did they put together much of what you hear for 'modern' music. We knew we were getting the best and is has been validated over time. Rock On! Enjoy. 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
