I was actually at the show this was recorded at. Download Festival 2009 in Donnington Park about 30 minutes from where I live. 110,000 people stood watching that shit and it was insane. Of all the bands I've seen this set is up there with the best ever. Got my ass whooped during the jump up but it was great!

I saw Slipknot live in 2004... still one of the best performances I've ever witnessed. There wasn't a single moment of the show where I didn't feel completely charged with adrenaline, even when I was passing out from overexertion. Amazing show.

The drummer is Joey Jordison. He is widely considered to be up there with the greatest drummers ever. Usually doesn’t make top tens but top 25-50, depending which list. Unfortunately, a few years ago he was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis that destroys myelin sheath from the muscles over time. 😢😢😢

You usually end up right in front of the stage when you crowd 🏄 but most shows the people won’t let you fall they’ll move you all the way to the security so they can get you down safely

That was so much fun. I’m AA and growing up my mom loved r&b, Motown, the classics. My dad liked that as well, but he loved rock and roll, and metal. I lost my dad last year and it still hurts. But watching you two rock out made me reminisce with a smile. I had the same joy and fun with him when he’d introduce me to a new rock group or genre! Blind from Woodstock was definitely hype as fuck, but there is a version of Blind from Rock am ring from either 2006 or 2007 with Joey Jordison on drums that is one of the craziest and most hyped fucking performances of all time, it is just pure fucking insanity the whole time, plus they extend the end of the song and just fucking crush it from start to finish. If you enjoyed the Woodstock version of blind, then you have to check out the Rock Am ring from 06 or 07. ( it's the one with Joey on drums).

Ok, I just subscribed because this was the best slipknot reaction on KZbin! You guys were just like me the first time I watched it! I jumped up too! Lol. I was supposed to go to my first slipknot concert this past month but had a family emergency and couldn’t go. I’m 50 and a grandmother so I was worried about my knees and breaking apart too! Lol. I just got 2 new hips though and was ready to give them a good tryout at a slipknot concert. I just hope they tour next year too so I can go then. Corey Taylor has said he will be working and recording with his other band Stone Sour in 2020 so I may have to wait a few years. Wouldn’t mind seeing Stone Sour though. Since I just found your channel, I don’t know what you’ve reacted to yet but I’ll look before asking for some other bands! Sorry for the book. Again, GREAT reaction video! Looking forward to more.

Rammstein is also pretty much evil and original with their sound. They have a very strong image and are very impressive on stage, also they are one of the heavy bands that non-metal people can listen to, even use fist pump on their first two albums lol. They mix sound of machine with the sound of guitar and you get Industrial heavy music. But their music videos are the best!
