I have anxiety and metal show's are intense but metalheads are thoughtful like one time I decided to crowd surf and landed head first in a mosh pit people dragged me out and were like are you ok, it's aggressive music but not aggressive lifestyle

I was at this gig and it was fucking awesome. My favourite instance at a gig was during Chimaira at download, during a wall of death, I went down, got quite trampled in the few seconds I was down, within seconds there was about 10 hands reaching down to me and I was dragged to my feet, checked I was ok, then straight back into it! As you say, metal is aggressive music, metal heads have a real sense of community

Slipknot was my son's first show back in 2015 when he was eleven and he was hooked. Last year we went to St. Louis to see them again and it was just as good as the first time. If you do get the chance, go see the show and honestly, you could spend the whole night watching each of the nine guys individually to see what they're doing at any given time. They're just that active up there and then energy is non stop. To be in the crowd is such a release of energy and emotions, I cant explain it. Do it. Go to a show.

At the 9:51 mark. You see the camera pan back from the crowd to the stage. There is not only the fence you see everybody behind and all the yellow and orange security, but more security and barriers behind all those yellow and orange guys you see all video. The fans have to be 30 to 40 meters away from the stage, except in the corners. Most bands wouldn't have a 30 ×40 square meter area of fans doing anything the band tells them.
